Straight answers about what data ADHD Brotherhood handles, how, and why.

Last updated: June 2026

Who we are

ADHD Brotherhood is a regulation and execution app for adult men with ADHD, operated by Firebird Holdings Ltd. When this policy says "we", "us", or "Brotherhood", it means Firebird Holdings Ltd trading as ADHD Brotherhood.

We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can reach us at info@adhd-brotherhood.com for any privacy-related question.

The short version

The Brotherhood app is local-first. Your priorities, check-ins, wins, medication records, and everything else you enter into the app are stored on your device. They are not transmitted to our servers. We do not build a profile of you. We do not sell data. We do not share your mental health information with anyone.

What data we hold and why

App data (stored on your device only)

Everything you enter into the Brotherhood app - priorities, daily check-ins, wins, discipline records, medication settings, trigger notes, progress history - is stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences system or the equivalent web storage. This data never leaves your device as part of normal app use. We cannot access it, read it, or recover it if your device is lost.

Bro+ subscription status is verified against the payment provider (see below). No other app data is sent to external systems.

Bro+ subscriptions (RevenueCat)

If you subscribe to Bro+, your payment and subscription status is handled by RevenueCat and the relevant app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). We receive confirmation of your subscription status - active, expired, or cancelled - to unlock Bro+ features. We do not receive or store your payment card details. RevenueCat's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data. Neither we nor RevenueCat receives your health or mental health information.

Email contact

When you email us at info@adhd-brotherhood.com or app@adhd-brotherhood.com, we receive and store your message and email address. We use this to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list without your consent, and we do not share your email with third parties. We retain correspondence for as long as it is reasonably needed to resolve the enquiry, and then delete it.

Website visits

This website (adhd-brotherhood.com) does not use analytics tracking software, advertising pixels, or third-party behavioural tracking. Standard web server logs may capture your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit as part of normal hosting operations. These logs are not linked to any personal profile and are retained for routine security and diagnostic purposes only.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. This results in a request to Google's servers when you load a page. No additional tracking is configured through this connection.

Health and mental health data

Information about ADHD, emotional state, medication, mental health patterns, and similar sensitive data entered into the app is stored locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to us, shared with third parties, or used for profiling. This applies to both free and Bro+ users.

The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If something in the app references mental health patterns or ADHD behaviours, it is for informational and self-support purposes only.

Children

Brotherhood is designed for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has submitted personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Data storage and security

App data is stored on your device and protected by your device's own security. We do not hold copies of your app data on our servers. Email correspondence is stored in standard email systems with appropriate access controls.

If you lose your device, your app data is only recoverable via your device's own backup system (Google backup on Android, iCloud on iOS). We cannot restore it for you. Cloud sync and account-based backup are planned for a future update.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access - ask what personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure - ask us to delete your personal data where there is no legitimate reason to keep it
  • Restriction - ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances
  • Portability - receive data you have provided to us in a portable format
  • Object - object to processing based on our legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent - where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

Because the app is local-first, most personal data you create in Brotherhood is on your device, not with us - and you can delete it directly by uninstalling the app. For any data we do hold (email correspondence), contact us at info@adhd-brotherhood.com and we will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have handled your data improperly.

Third-party links

This website and the app contain links to third-party sites and services. This policy does not cover those sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app or website after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If we make significant changes affecting how we handle sensitive data, we will communicate this directly where we are able to.
